Was hoping this solves my water problem. Good design, should have but doesn't. Tried it on different brand water bottles, non fit properly and does not lock on. The cap is slightly bigger than the bottle opening enough so to prevent it from locking on securely. I used some teflon tape to make it fit. Manufacturer needs to re assess their design and tolerances.

The device works as described. I find that it helps to gently squeeze the bottle while the dog is licking the "dispenser" portion of device. That does cause a little water loss from dripping, but encourages the dog to keep licking until they've had enough water, esp helpful on a hot day. I carry the bottle with me, attached to a little walking bag I crocheted. Unfortunately, the lid for keeping everything closed, has cracked and if I don't store the bottle in an upright position, it will result in water gradually leaking all over the place. So far, that's the only issue I have had.
